Right 2 Dream Too

isn't asking that much; a vacant lot on W. Burnside, the edge of the Old Town, looking out ovver the infinite sea of traffic to Where the Dinosaurs Roasm.  Indeed they do, South of the Burner, down PBA Way...in short: Where all the money is being made and spent.  Can it be true? No food, No shelter? No jobs? No warm bed or clean clothes? Can it really be true, the people shopping at Nordstroms can't make a dent in the suffering.  'Course they can. The owner of the land Right 2 Dream Too is founded upon, Michael Wright, he's all for it.  So what's the problem?

The Problem: This whole case - if nothing else - has served to shine a bright light on the actual effects our laws have, based on the real reason these laws of ours  came into being.  Legislators tell us and dutifully, we tell ouirselves that laws are there to keep us safe - But safe from what?   Safe from ourselves?  Because we are mere single cells in the body poliytic.  And when it comes down to sorting out what's to be done with people who don't have the money it takes to buy a place at  the table. If considerable sums of money were at stake, if wealth was made or lost, the Law would know what to do, because, contrary to the advertisements, laws protect money, not people.  If somehow money is attached to you, you are already protecxted.  No money, no protection.

Simple as that.

Right 2 Dream too has established itself on land.  People stuck to the ground on planet earth...seems like a simple  set of circumstances neither above or beneath the law.  Butmbecause moiney isn't the glue that holds these people to the earth, the law is paralysed, helpless, has no map and no compass.
