Have you cuddled up with a book lately? It’s National Library Week on April 13-19. National Library Week is an annual celebration of the contributions of libraries and librarians. In Multnomah County, this will include a series of events celebrating bilingual literacy through Dia de Los Niños and Dia de Los Libros – Day of the Children and Day of the Books. The public is invited for food, music, and activities. El publico esta invitado por comida, musica, y actividades. Next Saturday April 18^th, ROSE Community Development and Kelly SUN Community School will present the East Portland Homeownership Fair, providing tools for buying a home, and preserving home ownership. This FREE event will be held 10am-2pm at Kelly Elementary School, 9030 SE Cooper St. Details are available at www.rosecdc.org.
