Hanford Nuclear Discussions in Portland
A recently held meeting in Portland aimed to gather comment on the Hanford site, a nuclear production complex on the Columbia river, and the most contaminated nuclear site in the US. The organization Heart of America Northwest convened the public meeting after a request to hold meetings in Oregon state was denied by Hanford agencies.
KBOO reporter Joe Meyer attended the meeting, and spoke with Heart of America Northwest staff member Mark Saporito directly afterwards.
