Another listener called in and wanted me to dedicate a song to his pitbull Fernando, who they ALMOST had to put down, but in the end didn’t. Well, I’ll do you one better. I will dedicate this SHOW to Fernando. I’m glad you pulled through.

Last week when Boy Eats Drum Machine was here, we were talking about spontaneity at the KBOO studios. Well, guess what I witnessed this morning as I pulled up to the station? Tango at 3AM across the street from KBOO at the Imago Theater. The street was packed, both with cars, and people milling in and out. I cornered someone on my way out of the station to ask what it was all about, since the event was obviously still going, and he told me that it is a tango thing to “go all night”. Here’s to you tango folks as well.
