Tomorrow afternoon, the First Unitarian Church of Portland invites you to a Social Justice Community Failr in celebration of the Politics of Love weekend, which will honor the 7th anniversary of same-sex marriage in Multnomah County.  The fair will run from 1 to 5 pm, with a screening and discussion of the film Gen Silent at 2 PM.

Also tomorrow afternoon, In Other Words will host the kickoff meeting of the Portland Childcare Collective. This group is forming as a response to the need for free, cooperative, and community-driven care for children of people participating in political and activist events. Tomorrow’s meeting is an opportunity to network and begin forming a collective of parents and allies. Bring a potluck dish if you are able. Children are welcome. It runs from 2 to 5 at In Other Words, located at 14 N Killingworth.
