Bagby Hotsprings:  It's the tip of the iceberg...Care about this and Cascadia's wild wonder?  The "jobless recovery" is nothing but a poxy, mendatious means of selling the public execution of environmental laws.  Unemployment is turning ecocrime inside-out.  Why?  Because 'desperate people do desperate things'.  Along the Gulf Coast, people who describe themselves as 'environmental activists' are caving to the pressure and, blind-eyed, buying the tar sand Macdream.  Refineries are running night and day, day and night...This is the King Hell hardest the woods have ever been hit.  And, yes, it's nice to plant a tree.  You can dig a hole, drag out the sapling and wash your hands when it's all over.  Because you did a 'Good Thing'.  But a 'Good Thing' isn't the Whole Thing and no one can plant a forest.  "Sustainability"?  Who'd want to "sustain" the shit we're wallowing in right now.  Isn't it time to roll back the over-consumption? the overpopulation? the waste and the wars?

Monsanto wins again.  What is it going to take to stop the Archer Daniels Midlanders from marching into your food?  The Tea party animals are cheering...but that's what they get paid to do.  Barely a week has passed since the Koch brothers held their closed-door meeting at Rancho Mirage...and already we are reaping what they are sewing.
