Now in its 30th year, the Wild Arts festival celebrates nature in art. Find nature-related art and books, a silent auction, entertainment, and The Audubon Society’s Educational Birds. The fesitival will be at Montgomery Park Atrium and Ballroom at 2701 NW Vaughn, Portland, OR. Admission is $5 and the festival goes from 10am to 6pm on saturday and 11am to 5pm on sunday. This sunday you can see a play at the library. Thats right this Sunday and next saturday The library will be showing a play based on a Native American tale, this play tells how Raven the trickster brought light and warmth to the world. After the show the instructors will lead an audience participant play titled Coyote Gets Fire. Raven Steals the Sun will be preformed this sunday from 1 to 1:45pm at Holgate Library Located at 7905 S.E. Holgate Boulevard Portland, Oregon and again next saturday at Woodstock Library located at 6008 S.E. 49th Avenue Portland, Oregon from 1:30pm to 2:15pm and again from 3pm to 3:45pm. Want to practice your spanish, english, or both? Stop by the Q center this sunday for Ambiente Bilingual group; a queer-friendly Spanish/English bilingual discussion group. Half of the meeting will be spent talking in English and half in Spanish. This group is great for all skill levels and beginners are encouraged to attend.
