Predictable.
Of course, the person who literally "wrote the book" advocating for a single state solution would be at best skeptical of any serious peace process.
He makes one point that should be taken seriously.  By not having a unity government, and by postponing the elections that were to happen this summer, the Palestinians are creating credibility problems both internally and externally.  That is why diplomatic efforts throughout the world have also focused on bringing Hamas and Fatah together for reconciliation talks.  Anyone paying attention today (Aug 20th) by reading Israeli and Palestinian news sources will see that simultaneous to the announcement of direct talks, there are new reconciliation talks in Palestine also announced today.  This is a crucial step towards peace, with political progress in Palestine the combined diplomatic efforts of the US, the Quartet, and the Arab League may actually bear fruit.
The only person who loses in a sucessful peace process is Ali Abunimah, the architect of the so called "single state peace plan", where the domination of one people is replaced by demographic change to domination by the other people.
