The Colony

Portland’s Newest Gathering Place

9525 N Richmond Avenue; Portland

This is a networking PARTY! hosted by Green Empowerment for individuals and professionals who think that water, solar, and biogas digestor projects are sexy.

Green Empowerment is a non-profit organization, founded in Portland in 1997, that provides villages in the developing world access to clean water, electricity through renewable energy, and sustainable solutions.  As such, they are inviting individuals and professionals from the community who have experience with these rural development technologies to a networking PARTY in support of their efforts.

Full Access – VIP Programming – 5:30 – 8:30 PM - TICKETS $85.00

Guests are greeted with country-specific cocktails and invited to join a touring cohort.  Green Empowerment field staff will lead expeditions through five country-themed rooms where native food, drink, and stories of hope await each group.  Each adventure culminates in the ballroom at 8:00 p.m. where a live band, including special musical guests, will conclude the VIP portion of the event.  VIP guests are encouraged to stay and visit all the country-themed rooms throughout the rest of the evening – Peru, Philippines, Nicaragua, Malaysia, Thailand, Burma, and Kenya - as they party ‘till they drop.

Throwdown – Party till You Drop – 8:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. – TICKETS $35.00

While enjoying live music and dance performances, all guests are encouraged to network with renewable energy and development professionals, as well as Green Empowerment field staff in the hookah and/or scotch lounges.  Participate in solar, ram pump, or wind technology demonstrations in-between dancing and drinks.  There are also special guests, competitions, and prizes to win – all in support of worldwide rural development.

TICKETS are available online, in advance.
