The festival offers traditional and contemporary Romani music and dance by both local and
international performers. Expect to see a diverse range of music and dance, including Balkan brass, fiery Flamenco, Middle Eastern beats, Django's hot jazz, Hungarian czardas, Rajasthani dance, Russian 7-string guitar, and eclectic Gypsy punk!
In addition, there are offerings of film, art, live painting, photography, interesting artisanal vendors of adornments and crafts, food, beer garden, workshops, impromptu parades, educational talks, lounging tent, jam sessions, and a children's area with story-telling, crafts, puppet shows, and instrument exploration.
Festival Romani is collaborating with some wonderful non-profits, including Amnesty International, The Marissa Mission, Ethos, and several Romani organizations such as Voice of Roma and Lolo Diklo. All proceeds from the festival go towards supporting education, tolerance, and human rights!
