Dr. Zaher Wahab on the Current Situation in Afghanistan
Guest host Per Fagereng interviews Zaher Wahab, professor emeritus , Graduate School of Counseling and Education, Lewis and Clark College.

Zaher was raised and schooled in Afghanistan, attended the American University of Beirut, Columbia University and Stanford U. Dr.Wahab has been helping the Ministry of Higher education in Afghanistan since 2002 as senior adviser, and education professor at Kabul University and Kabul Education U. Since the start of 2014, Wahab has served as designer, director, and professor of the master in education program for teacher education faculty from the country's 42 Teacher Training Academies at the American University of Afghanistan_an independent, non-profit, non-denominational, and  private university in Kabul.

Zaher is in Portland for a short visit. He  will discuss the rapidly deteriorating political, military, economic and social situation  in Afghanistan and the failure and damage of the US-NATO invasion and occupation of Afghanistan.
