Brussels- 500 protesters tried to block the “European Business Summit.” The police made dozens of arrests.   About 500 activists of the D1-20 Alliance, which brings together farmers, citizens, workers, unemployed or artists gathered Thursday morning in the center of Brussels. They marched to the Egmont Palace, home of the European Business Summit, via the Boulevard de Waterloo, hoping to block the summit.    The police, backed by riot police, surrounded the protesters and made arrests. The police also used water-cannons. A total of 240 protesters were arrested administratively, said the spokesman of the police zone Brussels Capital Ixelles, Christian De Coninck.

C, The Los Angeles Fire Department some Ana winds 3 months early this year, says that what overwhelmed by the arrival of the insidious Santaome area businesses were impacted by the spill, which took place on West San Fernando Road. According to RT.com, gushes of oil was seen spurting straight up into the air, and landing on a local strip club The Gentlemen’s Club, where patrons were evacuated.
The fire department has yet to reveal which company operates the pipeline. An environmental cleaning company was helping with the cleanup efforts.

D,  Fall City, Washington State: Police Seek “Steelhead Bandits” Who Released 25,000 Fish from Washington Hatcher.   Washington state’s five steelhead hatcheries are on high alert after someone broke into a facility overnight and released approximately 25,000 juvenile fish into the Snoqualmie River.
State Fi sh and Wildlife Hatchery managers are concerned it was an act of defiance against a new agreement that sharply curtails the state’s steelhead hatchery program. The agreement resulted from a lawsuit filed by a fish protection group, Wild Fish Conservancy, which accused the State of violating the Endangered Species Act. State Fish and Wildlife Managers agreed to stop planting winter steelhead hatchery fish in all but one river.

This set off a wave of criticism by some sport anglers who eagerly await the steelhead runs each year.
