The current needs of the Oregon Food Bank and DEQ Foodstock, a fun variety music show fundraiser
Host Michelle Schroeder Fletcher speaks with Shawn DeCarlo of the Oregon Food Bank and David Bolton of the State of Oregon – Governor’s State Employees Food Drive about hunger in Oregon, the current needs and programs of the Oregon Food Bank, how Oregon State workers are raising money for the Food Bank and "Foodstock," a variety music show event this Saturday night that is a fundraiser for the Food Bank.
DEQ Foodstock is this coming Saturday night, March 1! Doors open at the Milwaukie Elks Lodge (13121 SE McLoughlin Blvd) at 5:45 pm and the show starts at 6:30 pm. 7 musical acts will perform a wide variety of styles and songs. Food and beverages are available. There is also a Silent Auction of hand-crafted works of art.
DEQ Foodstock Concert is a fun variety music show that raises money for the Oregon Food Bank as part of the annual Governor's State Employee's Food Drive.
This is the 10th straight year of Foodstock, which is organized by staff at DEQ (in their off hours!).
