Record-breaking cold weather descended on the Northwest late last week and intensified over the weekend.
Many cities across Oregon set record lows by Sunday night and temperatures aren’t expected to rise above forty degrees until Wednesday, according to current forecasts.
KBOO Reporter Ross Freeman Levin spoke with Steve Pierce, the owner of Northwest Weather Consultants and member of the Oregon Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, for more details on the region's current cold weather patterns.
