Insurgent Brazil greets the World Cup -- a conversation with Eduardo Albergaria
Strikes, protests and occupations greet the arrival of the World Cup in Brazil this week.  In one of the world's most unequal societies, the Workers Party government is spending tens of billions of dollars building world class stadiums, displacing slum dwellers, and ramping up police and the armed forces, preparing for the huge world soccer championship -- while healthcare, education and public transportation suffer cuts.  Eduardo Albergaria, aide to a Congressional minister and activist in the Party of Socialism and Freedom (PSOL), talks with Labor Radio host Jamie Partridge about the opportunities and challenges facing the working class struggle.
