Interview with Todd Walters of Conservation International on peace parks, peace building strategies

What is a peace park? How can a  peace park simultaneously promote biodiversity, job creation, as well as peace and stability in hot spots around the world? Peace park efforts are underway around the world, including the De-Militarized Zone between North and South Korea, Lake Titicaca between Peru and Bolivia, and along the borders between Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro in the Balkans. Host Stephanie Potter speaks with Todd Walters, the founder and Executive Director of International Peace Park Expeditions, and also the first Fellow at the Policy Center for Environment and Peace at Conservation International. Call-in's welcome: 503-231-8187
