Guest host Doug McVay speaks with Courtney Moran, a local attorney who heads up the Oregon Hemp Industry Association. They'll discuss the current state of the international hemp industry, and the prospects for hemp in the United States. They'll also be talking about hemp, its history, and its potential as a new cash crop for Oregon farmers. Oregon is among several states that have legalized the production of hemp, at least on a small scale, and they'll also be talking about hemp legislation currently working its way through the state legislature.
