Our Lee Stripling Show

Lee Stripling died earlier in the week. He was 86 years old and an incandescent gentleman. He'd lived in Seattle for many years working his day job, raising his family & after he retired returning to fiddling. Many of us saw him at the American Festival of Fiddle Tunes at Port Townsend, Washington. He's also been a regular at Portland's Old Time Gathering. He's the son of Charlie Stripling one or the most recorded fiddlers in Alabama in the 20's (as the fiddling half of the duo "The Stripling Brothers). Bon Voyage Lee Stripling.
