  Yes Portland area,   REGGAE is coming on strong.  Despite the recent economy blues, the Portland Reggae Music scene is a growin !!  Thankyou Cheerful Jolly Roger (se 12th and Hawthorne) for holdin the live Reggae for years.  Thankyou Mt Tabor Theatre (se 48th and Hawthorne) for returning Reggae Night Wednesdays !!!, and of course,  other local venues adding Reggae to your weekly events !!
