Critics oppose amendments to Iraq Resolution in the Oregon Legislature

The Oregon Legislature's House Committee on Elections Ethics and Rules heard testimony on a resolution to oppose a surge of troop levels in Iraq. The measure, called H-J-M-9, had several last minute amendments added. Critics say the amendments change the original intent of the bill and opposing the changes.

Portland's representative Chip Shields who is a sponsor of the proposal talked to KBOO reporter Ethan Scarl.
