Michael Schrunk, the District Attorney for Multnomah County, held several supposedly public hearings last week. 

The focus of the hearings was a proposed policy on the use of deadly force by the Portland police department. 

Although the topic is one that usually raises heated debate among Portlanders, almost no one attended the hearings.
