The Portland City Council voted 4-0 on Wednesday to approve rules banning city from purchasing goods made with sweated labor by the city. Elizabeth Swaggart of SweatFree Northwest talks with Bill Resnick about their campaign.
This program, hosted by Tom Becker, deals with better ways to repair the economy, making Portland Sweat Free (no purchases of city uniforms produced by sweatshop labor), the Winter Soldier Project in Portland where Iraq veterans testify about the impact of the war on their lives, and what Columbus really did.
