An afternoon of Ghanian Highlife music

With roots going back to the 1920's and drawing from a number of sources, Highlife was a prominent style of music for over 60 years in the English speaking countries of West Africa. Even though found in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria, it was primarily a Ghanian creation .As part of KBOO's spring membership drive join DJ Charlie, host of the World Beat Connection, on April 4th from noon until 2pm and enjoy 2 hours of great Ghanian Highlife. Included will be the music of E.T. Mensah, Nana Ampadu, the Ramblers Dance Band and many others. Don't miss Highlife Highlights on April 4th.

Is there a playlist for 12-23-08. I believe it was hosted by DJ Troy. There were a few songs that were played that I really liked. I think they were from a CD released in 2008.
