 Tune in Monday Nov 2nd at 11 pm for a couple of audio dramas about altered realities from the Ubu Hour. 

First up, the short peice WHERE DID IT ALL GO WRONG?  His partner is in a coma in the hospital. When she awakes she will think everything is different, reality and illusion are fused... What is the terrible and frightening truth that will be revealed. This radio drama is based on the song St James Infirmary Blues. Another version of Where Did It All Go Wrong is being produced by the Willamette Radio Workshop as part of their Halloween Extravaganza TALES FROM THE ST JAMES INFIRMARY.

Followed by: THE SOUL JUMPERS: Renee and Evan are brutally murdered in a motel on the outskirts of Portland.

The Ubu's Blatent Use of Sex to Get New Members

The Ubu Hour reached a new low this Membership Drive with the following pledge pitch, which sounds more like the come-on to a phone sex line than to become a member of a community radio station. Heavy breathing and moaning, creaking bed springs, seductive voices urging you to call the number (in this case the air room number, since the regular phone answers fled the building as soon as the show began to air)   Normally KBOO doesn't post audio of people asking for donations, but because this one is so utterly dispicable, in using eroticism to lure potential members, that we decided to post it so that other people could see just how low the Ubu Hour is willing to stoop...
