Jo Ann Bowman is a former state legislator, former executive director of Oregon Action, and a long-time leader in the struggle for racial and economic justice.

We included about 2/3rds of people who participated in the interviews, talking about the beginnings of ROP, how different individuals came across ROP and how it has effected their organizing or their lives, and some anecdotal snippets about the marches, the caucuses, the demonstrations, and other events that ROP has helped them with, across the state over the past 18 years.
