It was on another Murdoch outlet that Glen Beck was allowed to unleash a firestorm of hate mail, death threats, and dirty tricks against professor Frances Fox Piven. This Thursday morning author and long time social activist Frances Fox Piven will join host, Linda Olson-Osterlund, to talk about the Propagandizing of America and the tactics used by the extreme right-wing against her. Targeted over 30 time by Beck the results included 2 men who came to her home posing as students. Tune in to hear the whole story.

  Yves Engler, co-author of Stop Signs: Cars and Capitalism on the Road to Economic, Social and Ecological Decay spoke at Laughing Horse Books on June 21st. He and his co-author Bianca Mugyenyi documented an anthropolicical tour of the land of Homo Automomotivis and argue for moving beyond the private automobile.
