And, rumor has it, that a really fun hokum band visiting from The Bay Area, the Sour Mash Hug Band, who will be performing with Saloon Ensemble on Tuesday night at The White Eagle, will come by as well to either perform or help cohost the show. So join Fortunato, Captain Jon, and The All Hearing Ear  as we try once again to systematize chaos.

Mr Novelty Records, Craig Adams, will be sitting in with Fortunato to sample some classic comedy recordings. Joining us by phone from somewhere in LA, will be filmmaker / musician Ari Gold, to update us on his work to save school music programs. Also dropping by the studio will be The Sexywaterspiders. Who are about to go on tour, for the first time! So, we're having them on before they lose their innocent rosy complexions.  There will also be a special appearance by Hopeless Jack and the Handsome Devil.

One of Portland's favorite street bands, All the Apparatus, came down to the studio the Friday before the show to record a few songs for us. They are all upstanding young people, with actual jobs, and they all couldn't come down to the show in the middle of a Monday afternoon!  So, Captain Jon recorded them last week, and we replayed it for this show with three of the band members, Al, Mallory and Gena joining us in the air room. We also talked by phone to Sabrina, who's travels have brought her to Austin, Texas. Where she reports on the South by Southwest Music Festival. And she has adopted a young fox as a pet!(pictured below)
