A Look At The Memoir "Chinaberry Sidewalks" With Author Rodney Crowell
The memoir "Chinaberry Sidewalks" debuted in early 2011. It was the first venture into the world of prose for "Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame" member and performing artist Rodney Crowell. Crowell also provided the reading for the audiobook of his memoir. He won an award for his efforts. "Chinaberry Sidewalks" is now due to come out in paperback on March 13.
Wayne and Kathy, from the "Swing & Country" dj collective conduct this interview with Rodney Crowell. Crowell reads and comments on chosen passages and answers questions by the two hosts.

Rodney Crowell Featured Prior To "The Chinaberry Sidewalks Tour" Date In Portland
Rodney Crowell was the featured artist on "Swing & Country", which aired January 15, 2011 on KBOO 90.7 FM. Crowell's memoir entitled "Chinaberry Sidewalks" was due to come out just prior to his appearance at Portland's "Aladdin Theater" on Wednesday, February 9. The following audio is the last 40 minutes of that program in which we focused on the music that Rodney Crowell has produced since 2001. Along with the songs are excerpts from a taped interview we had with Rodney and joining us live in the air room was Portland native and Rodney's bass player for the past ten years, Denny Bixby.
