Arhoolie Records Special

From its humble beginnings in 1960 with one microphone and a reel to reel tape recorder, Arhoolie Records became the premier American roots music label. With this year’s release of “They All Played For Us: Arhoolie Records' 50th Anniversary Celebration “- Book and 4 CD set, we decided to do an Arhoolie retrospective.
Join me, Phil G, with my co-host, Alicia Olson, as we play selections from Arhoolie’s catalog, interview founder Chris Strachwitz, and also the musicians from BeauSoleil, who did early recordings on Arhoolie.
