Yesterday evening, the Oregon Board of Forestry unanimously approved a federal forest plan personally presented by Governor John Kitzhaber. The plan aims to direct the Board's actions in order to create a more favorable context for both commercial and stewardship activity on Oregon's federal forest lands (about 60% of forest in the state).
