Our Second Halloween offering is a classic monster story by science fiction writer Theodore Sturgeon, entitled 'IT'. An allegorical fantasy about a man-like plant creature who grew out of a swamp and begins roaming the countryside destroying anything or anyone it comes across. Most threaten is the Drew family living in a nearby farm. Unaware of the danger, the Drew's nine year old daughter, Babe, sneaks out of the house to meet up with her uncle in their secret hiding place in the woods. But her uncle has already by killed and torn apart by the brute strength of the mute, and uncaring mold with a mind.
For Halloween, we submit for your approval, Pigeons From Hell; a scary Southern Gothic short story by Texas-born Robert E. Howard, the creator of Conan the Barbarian. Two lost travelers come across a long abandoned plantation house, where they decide to spend the night. But something is hiding in the old manor house, something horrible! Something undead, that 'lives' off murder! Howard combines a classic haunted house story with elements of nightmarish dream states, and voodoo legends of the undead, with the aftermath of the Reconstuction for a tale of horror and cruel revenge.

DUDU INTRUDES is a homage to Alfred Jarry's Ubu plays, with Ma and Pa Dudu as the ugly Americans who are visiting a house in a foreign country after their car breaks down. It's rude and crass, and hopefully catches some of the spirit of the original Ubu./..
OUR LITTLE MAYOR Part 4.. More hilarity insues with the further adventures of Slam Assbuns, openly-gay mayor of a small big west coast city, and the follow-out from his lies about the relationship he had with an 18-year old. Rabid petition-recallers, corrupt city officials, and sleazy news paper publishers ... not to mention that the Ubu Hour once again pokes fun of The Couve, (also known as VanKansas) to the north of us... It even ends with the late great Richard Francis reading a poem about health care lobbyists and capitalism.
