A Different Nature on 10/17/11

Program:
A Different Nature
Air date:
Mon, 10/17/2011 - 8:00pm - 10:00pm
Short Description:
Moebius, Roedelius, Cluster, Harmonia and more

Tonight on A Different Nature, in light of the upcoming performance of HANS JOACHIM ROEDELIUS, we will explore his music, along with that of his oft-times collaborator, DIETER MOEBIUS. After being a part of the avant-garde group KLUSTER with CONRAD SCHNITZLER in 1969, they formed CLUSTER, in 1971, and went on to create a proto-type of the ambient electronic music still heard today. Not only will we hear KLUSTER and CLUSTER, but also HARMONIA, which included Michael Rother of NEU!, and some of their collaborations with like-minded artist BRIAN ENO. Here's a chance to listen to the pre-history of contemporary ambient electronica!
