  Host Dmae Roberts presents: Hand2Mouth presents Risk/Reward Festival of New Works. We'll hear from Jerry Tischleder (featured left), the Risk/Reward festival. The two-day festival includes performances on Saturday and a conference with panel discussions on Sunday. The shows take place in the BodyVox Dance building. Some of the Seattle/Portland performers include Oslund & Co. Mike Pham, Angela Blair, and Paul Budrdaitis.

  Host Dmae Roberts talks with Chanda Hall, the artistic director of Staged who's collaborating with  Milagro Theatre to produce "Songs for a New World" - composed by the Tony-award-winning Jason Robert Brown. "Songs for a New World" is a long-time off-Broadway hit. The composer himself will be coming to Portland to perform an evening of his new work as a benefit for "Staged." Chanda Hall also talks about some of the outreach to youth singers her organization brings to the Portland area.
