PREVIEW: On Tuesday March 1st at 11am on KBOO radio, Host Dmae Roberts explores the growing landscape of the web series via an actor, director and producer working on three different projects. actor Harold Philips and director Micki Selvitella, both theatre artists, will tell us what it's like to work on web series in Portland. Then Ryan Copple, co-creator of SyFy.com's Riese: Kingdom Fallingwill share his experiences working on one of the most successful web series that received 1.2 million streams in two months.

Twenty-five local cartoonists attended a special dress rehearsal of Puccini's Turandot at the Portland Opera, where they captured their impressions of the evening in comics form. Comics Night at the Opera is the brainchild of Portland Opera's publicity and publications manager Julia Sheridan, P.R. and marketing coordinator Claudie Fisher, and CulturePulp's Mike Russell, who join S.W. Conser in the KBOO studios.
