Happy Birthday to KBOO! We're releasing a 7"!

KBOO was born in June 1968, and we’ll be hosting plenty of small birthday parties for ourselves in the summer and fall… but our present to you, our dear community, is this seven inch vinyl record! We pressed 1000 copies of a recording from a live Elizabeth Cotten performance that we broadcast in 1975, and a recording just made by KBOO’s 2013 Artist in Residence Marisa Anderson.

The  plates are at the record pressing plant, the covers are at the printers, and we are hoping to have them at the Meet and Greet with Marisa Anderson on June 30th from 4-7pm at KBOO Studios.

Thank you so much for your support over the past 45 years. We would not be here without you.
