join some of Portland’s finest local musicians will present Songs of Community – a benefit for KBOO Community Radio.
For over 46 years, KBOO Community Radio, on the air 24/7 at 90.7 fm, has been the people’s voice in Portland, broadcasting music, news and commentary. KBOO is almost entirely funded by its listeners, and local volunteers produce most of its content.
Admission is on a sliding scale of $10 - $20, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

The line-up includes Satori Men’s Chorus, award-winning singer-songwriter Mark Bosnian, and, representing Artichoke Music, Ann Weiss, Paul Sanchez, Steve Moss, and Richard Colombo.
Satori Men’s Chorus – “Men Singing Peace” – was founded in 1994 to offer men of all ages and musical backgrounds a community in which they could join their voices and grow as singers. Satori is directed by Susan Dorn.
Mark Bosnian is an award-winning singer-songwriter, teacher, and performer who has appeared on stages around the world. He was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2001. He teaches vocal music to many Portland musicians, including members of Satori Men’s Chorus. He is joined tonight by Rebecca Cohen on bass.
